🌐 Third-Party AI Providers

When you send a message through LunarAI, your prompt is transmitted to third-party AI providers to generate responses. These providers include:

Anthropic (Claude Sonnet 5) — Pro plan only
Groq (GPT-OSS 120B)
xAI (Grok 4.3)
DeepSeek (DeepSeek V4 — Chinese jurisdiction)
OpenRouter — NVIDIA (Nemotron 3 Ultra)
Pollinations (FLUX image generation)

Important: These providers operate under their own privacy policies and may log prompts for abuse detection or service improvement. We recommend reviewing their policies:

Chinese Jurisdiction Notice: DeepSeek is a Chinese company governed by People's Republic of China law. Their data processing practices differ from US/EU standards. EU users should review their privacy policy carefully.

NVIDIA Notice: The Nemotron 3 Ultra endpoint logs requests for security and product improvement purposes. Do not use this model for confidential or personal data.

🛡️ Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on privately owned and managed servers operated by Lunar Edge LLC, protected by Cloudflare's network. We also leverage Oracle Cloud for additional redundancy. Security measures include:

Encrypted password storage using bcrypt hashing
Conversation encryption at rest in our database
Secure HTTPS connections via Cloudflare
Restricted database access limited to authorized administrators
Regular security updates and monitoring

While we take security seriously, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

🗑️ Data Retention & Deletion

Conversations: We retain your conversation history indefinitely unless you choose to delete it. When you delete a conversation, it is permanently deleted from our servers immediately. We do not maintain backups of deleted conversations.

Account Data: Your username and settings remain active as long as your account exists. To delete your entire account, contact an administrator.
